INSTANT
Encapsulates any free liquid hydrocarbon upon impact

PERMANENT
OIL LOCK The name tells the story. The instant encapsulation is also PERMANENT. The oil is LOCKED INSIDE and is held in place, with no re-release, until microbes feed on it and eliminate it.

COMPREHENSIVE
Encapsulation is so complete that a thorough application can eliminate all spilled oil leaving ZERO RESIDUE!

EASY TO USE
Because is so lightweight, exchange the shovel for a broom and dustpan making cleanup quick and effortless.

COST EFFECTIVE
One 50 gal. Drum of  OIL LOCK  (100 lbs) =
•up to 5 bales of poly pads (125 ea.)
•up to 2 pallets .of Oil Dry (80 bags!)
•up to 2000 lbs. of sand
One OIL LOCK  sock will replace 13 pigs.

DISPOSAL COSTS = NIL
...Certified SEG incineratable so you have the option of using it as a “fuel source” thereby eliminating haul off costs.
Only 1 lb. of  OIL LOCK  is needed to encapsulate 1 gallon of hydrocarbons, so total weight of cleaned-up material is only a fraction of most bulk absorbents.

LABOR COSTS REDUCED
...Even large spills can be addressed ‘in house” because OIL LOCK is easy to use and LOCKS UP OIL ON CONTACT. Very lightweight so transportation and clean-up is easier and faster.

SAFETY
...Eliminates up to 90% of volatile fumes within minutes of contact with spilled fuel
...Removes all oil residues from spill surfaces, eliminating any slip potential
...Acts as a flame suppressant

USE ON WATER
...Floats on water until it comes into contact with oil, and instantly LOCK UP
...WILL NOT absorb water

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
... Meets EPA requirements of landfill disposal because it is already biodegraded and will not break down further
...Non-leaching (any hydrocarbon product absorbed into  OIL LOCK  remains there until it degrades)
Non-abrasive (can be used around machinery without damaging equipment)

OIL LOCK WORKS ON:
Acetronitrile • Amyl Acetate • Benzene • Butanol • 2-Butanone • Bromodichloromethane • Bromoform • Carbon • Disulfide • Carbon Tetrachloride • Chloroform • Chloromethane • Chlorobenzene • Cutting Oils • Cyclohexane • Dichlorobenzene • 1,2-Dichloroethene • Diesel Fuels • Ethanol • Ethylbenzene • Ethyl Ether • Ethylene Glycol (anti freeze) • Gasoline • Glycerine • Heptane • Hexane • Hexachlorobenzene • Hexachlorobutadiene • Hexachloroethane • Isobutanol • Isopropene • Isopropanol • Jet Fuels • Kerosene • Methanol • Methylene Chloride • Methyl Ethyl Ketone • Methylphenol • Motor Oils • Napthalene • 2-Nitroaniline • Nitrobenzene • Oil Based Paints • Pentane • Pentachlophenol • Phenol • Propanol • Styrene • Teytrachloroethane • Tetrachloroethylene • Tetrahydrofuran • Toluene • Trichloroethylene • Trichlorophenol • Varsol • Vinyl Acetate • Vinyl Chloride • Xylenes

Specially processed biomass fibers making it oleophilic (it loves oil and absorbs it like a sponge, with no re-release) making for a permanent encapsulation--locked up!
