Flash Floor® is an ultra-low viscosity structural repair system engineered to create permanent-grade concrete repairs by penetrating deep into concrete pores and forming both mechanical and adhesive bonds within the substrate.

This produces a monolithic repair that restores smooth traffic transitions, distributes load effectively, and minimizes stress concentrations that commonly lead to premature failure.

Repairs are typically traffic-ready in about 15 minutes at ~70°F, allowing facilities to return to service quickly with minimal disruption.
WHY PERMANENT-GRADE MATTERS
Most repair failures occur because the repair material does not behave like the surrounding concrete.

Materials that are significantly harder or more brittle than the slab can transfer stress into adjacent concrete instead of absorbing load. This can result in edge cracking, debonding, or surface failure.

Flash Floor is engineered to more closely match the mechanical behavior of concrete, allowing repairs to distribute load rather than concentrating it — a key factor in long-term performance.

PROVEN MECHANICAL PERFORMANCE
Independent testing confirms:
-
Compressive Strength (sand-filled): ~6,452 PSI
-
Tensile Strength: ~3,574 PSI
-
Bond Strength: ~1,980 PSI
These properties allow repairs to absorb shock and transfer load without cracking or debonding under heavy traffic.

ENGINEERED MATERIAL TECHNOLOGY
Flash Floor is a two-part structural urethane polymer that combines with aggregate to form a tough polymer-concrete repair.
Key Properties:
-
Ultra-low viscosity (<12 cps) for deep penetration
-
~98% solids
-
Gel time ~6–7 minutes
-
Cure time ~15 minutes (~70°F)
-
Application range −30°F to 120°F
During curing, reactive components form long-chain molecular structures that lock together into a stable material with no significant outgassing detected after cure.

VERIFIED SUBSURFACE PENETRATION
Flash Floor’s ultra-low viscosity formulation allows the material to travel deep into the pore structure of concrete rather than remaining on the surface.

DESIGNED FOR INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENTS
Flash Floor has demonstrated reliable performance across diverse industrial environments, including manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, cold storage, and other high-traffic operational facilities.

Flash Floor is engineered for a wide range of concrete repair conditions, from small surface defects to large structural repair areas. The system can be applied to isolated damage, continuous linear repairs, or full sections of deteriorated slab.

control joints
-
cracks and hairline cracks
-
spalls and surface deterioration
-
potholes
-
bolt holes and anchor points
-

TRUSTED IN SPECIALIZED FACILITIES
When installed according to manufacturer recommendations, finished repairs:
-
will not adulterate food products
-
are impervious to moisture
-
withstand rigorous cleaning and temperature cycling

These characteristics meet USDA usage requirements.

Flash Floor is also approved for use around Plug Power hydrogen fueling systems, making it suitable for facilities operating hydrogen-powered material-handling equipment.

INSTALLATION ADVANTAGES
Flash Floor is engineered for speed and consistency:
-
No saw cutting required
-
Minimal surface preparation
-
Self-mixing system
-
Reduced dust and debris
-
Prep time reduced by up to 75% compared with traditional repairs

Surface Preparation Requirements
Proper surface preparation is essential for optimal repair performance. Concrete must be clean, dry, and free of contaminants such as oils, coatings, sealers, or residues that could interfere with penetration and bonding. Detailed preparation guidelines are provided in the installation instructions.

Contaminants embedded within concrete pores may reduce bond effectiveness and should be evaluated prior to repair.

Slab Stability Considerations
Concrete repairs perform best when the underlying slab is properly supported and stable. In some cases, cracking or joint deterioration may be influenced by subgrade movement or voids beneath the slab.
If slab movement is suspected, additional stabilization methods may be recommended prior to repair. Learn more about slab support solutions here.
REAL-WORLD PRODUCTION CAPABILITY
Documented project performance includes:
-
3,500 LF control joints repaired in 4 days
-
2,000+ spalls repaired in 3 days
-
1,600 LF cracks repaired in 2 days
-
Performed without disrupting forklift traffic.
WHY FLASH FLOOR IS DIFFERENT
Most repair materials rely primarily on surface adhesion. Flash Floor is engineered to penetrate into the concrete matrix itself, forming both a mechanical and adhesive bond. This allows repairs to distribute load, absorb impact, and perform more like the surrounding slab rather than behaving as a rigid surface patch.

ENGINEERED FOR PERMANENT-GRADE PERFORMANCE
Flash Floor is designed to deliver permanent-grade repair performance when installed according to manufacturer recommendations and used under normal service conditions. Performance depends on substrate condition, load conditions, and environmental factors.

IDEAL FACILITIES
Flash Floor is commonly used in:
-
warehouses
-
distribution centers
-
food manufacturing processing facilities
-
manufacturing plants
-
cold storage
-
battery charging areas
-
forklift traffic lanes
-
AGV / AMR or air-caster routes
-
